1. Acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of MioCC. By downloading, installing, purchasing, activating or using MioCC, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the applicable License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, you must not install, activate or use the application.

2. What MioCC is

MioCC is an offline-first privacy application that protects text and files directly on the user's device. Encryption and decryption do not require sending original content, passphrases, PINs, private keys or unprotected files to the owner.

3. Lawful purpose

MioCC is provided for lawful privacy, safer storage and controlled sharing of legitimate personal, business and sensitive information. MioCC is not designed, licensed or authorized for criminal activity, unlawful concealment, evasion of legal obligations, unauthorized access, distribution of illegal content or any other misuse. The user remains solely responsible for ensuring that their use of MioCC complies with all applicable laws.

4. User responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the content they protect, store, open or share, for the passphrase they choose, for backups, for device security and for compliance with all applicable laws. Lost passphrases cannot be recovered by MioCC, the owner or any third party.

5. Prohibited use

  • Illegal activity, fraud, threats, extortion or unauthorized system access.
  • Distribution, storage or exchange of malware, stolen data or unlawful content.
  • Violation of third-party rights, privacy, trade secrets or intellectual property.
  • Use where sanctions, export controls or local law prohibit the software or protected content.
  • Bypassing license controls, reselling activation files or redistributing paid editions without permission.

6. Privacy and permissions

MioCC asks for file, photo, video or sharing access only when the user starts those actions. Encryption and decryption are local. License verification may use a Device ID, edition, license status and expiration date, but the Device ID does not contain user files, messages or passphrases. Payment processing and website use may involve third-party processors as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Editions and licenses

FREE, LIGHT and PRO may have different features, limits and licensing requirements. Paid licenses grant a limited right to use the software. They do not transfer ownership of the software, code, design, brand, cryptographic format or documentation. License controls must not be bypassed.

8. Intellectual property

All copyrights, trademarks, software, source code, interface design, graphics, documentation, brand elements and cryptographic formats remain the exclusive property of the owner. No ownership rights are transferred to the user.

9. No endorsement of unlawful use

The owner does not approve and does not accept responsibility for misuse, unlawful exchange of content, illegal acts, user content, user mistakes, weak passphrases, compromised devices or use contrary to the app purpose.

10. No guarantee of absolute security

MioCC is built to improve privacy and protection, but no software can guarantee absolute security. Device compromise, malicious apps, operating-system vulnerabilities, weak passphrases, third-party apps and user behavior remain important risks.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MioCC is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, recovery of lost data or prevention of all possible damage. In no event shall the owner be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The user remains responsible for backups, legal use and safe handling of protected and unprotected content.

12. Changes

Terms, editions, prices, limits and features may be updated. When materially updated, the application may request acceptance of the new Terms version before further use. The version published on the official website should be treated as the current public reference unless a newer in-app version is shown.
