QUICK START GUIDE

Protect text and files offline.

This guide shows the basic MioCC workflow for Android and Windows: start a session, choose LOCK or UNLOCK, add text or files, and review the result.

Before you begin

Choose a strong password and keep it safely.
MioCC cannot recover forgotten passwords.
Never send the password together with the protected file.
Everything works offline. Your data stays on your device.

1. Start

Open MioCC, enter your password and press START. The password is used for the current protection or unlock operation.

Use the same password later to unlock protected content. If the password is wrong, MioCC cannot restore the original content.

2. LOCK - protect content

Choose LOCK MODE when you want to protect normal text, images, documents, videos or other files.

TEXTType text or use PASTE above the text field.
FILESUse ATTACH to add files. On Android, you can also capture photos or videos inside MioCC.

3. UNLOCK - open protected content

Choose UNLOCK MODE when you receive protected MioCC text or a protected MioCC file.

RECEIVEProtected content may arrive by email, messaging apps, USB, cloud storage or local transfer.
UNLOCKPaste protected text or attach the protected file, enter the correct password and press UNLOCK.
VIEWReview restored text or files inside MioCC when supported, or open files locally.

4. Result

After LOCK or UNLOCK, MioCC shows the result for the selected workflow. LOCK creates protected output. UNLOCK restores the original content when the correct password is used.

Reports confirm what was processed, without storing passwords, keys or original file contents.

Protected text can be copied. Protected files can be saved locally or shared through the platform workflow. The report confirms the completed operation.

Restored text and files become available inside MioCC. Supported images and videos can be reviewed in MioCC preview mode or opened locally when needed.

5. Panic

Panic is the red O inside the CCOMM logo on the main app screens. In Preview Mode, Panic appears as a separate red button so the protected preview can be closed immediately.

  • It leaves the active working view.
  • It clears supported temporary session/on-screen data.
  • It returns the user toward the password/start state.
  • It does not recover passwords.
  • It does not delete files already saved to local storage.

6. Where files are saved

On Windows, default output folders are created under the user's Documents directory, inside a MioCC folder.

Typical folders include encrypted files, decrypted files, text results and reports.

On Android, saving and sharing follow Android's local file and native share behavior.
